The Gratitude Attitude

In lieu of a photo tutorial today I wanted to talk about something slightly different. Today I braved the snow and sleet with the hopes of making it to the Post Office. My windshield wipers were not cooperating and visibility was low. No one could have blamed me had I simply crawled back under the covers and hid until the snow storm had passed.

Kristin from Just Peachy on FacebookLuckily however, I made it to the Post Office and was delighted to find a gift from Kristin of SparklePeach on Etsy! She sent me not one, but two gorgeous lockets from her shop as a thank you for some of the photography tips that I had been giving her. Now, if I wasn't already a devoted fan of hers you can bet than after today I am die-hard. Why is that you say? Because Kristin took time (and merchandise!) to say 'thank you' and show her gratitude. That's pretty huge as far as I'm concerned, and a great way to begin treating your fans and customers if you don't already.

Now if you've been lurking around here long enough, chances are that you've heard me mention the "Attitude of Gratitude" before. Elle MossLife becomes an amazing thing when you live it with gratitude. Thusly, you become an amazing person to do business with when you are truly grateful for your customers! When you celebrate everything from a positive interaction to a sale, you make people want to be associated with you and what you sell!

Let's compare: someone who complains on Twitter/FB that they never make any sales versus the person that thanks everyone who comments on a posting. Hmmm, tough choice right? After seeing that photographers like Elle Moss (left) comment and thank each fan for interacting on her Facebook page, I was inspired to do the same.

Thusly I am introducing my first Fan Appreciation Day this Saturday!! Come back and check my blog this weekend to find out all about it!

Best,

Jen
