Licensing Theme Challenge

Week 2: Eyes

Welcome back to our second week in the Licensing Theme Challenge!

This week I wanted to keep things simple and accessible, and so we are going to be photographing eyes.

You might be asking yourself, "why eyes?"

Along with being accessible, I chose this theme because eyes are incredibly expressive and are used on book covers for exactly that reason.

So if you would like to follow along in the challenge, I have a video to kick off Week 2:

I would love to see what you create, so feel free to share your portfolio with me by joining us in my artists' group on Facebook Beneath the Surface.

PS: If you want to get a jump start on portfolio building, I have put together an ebook called Licensed to Thrill of my 30 favorite book cover themes to help inspire your future photoshoots to build a portfolio that sells!

Licensed to Thrill is also now also a bonus for all students who enroll in Uncovered: Selling Your Art for Book Covers if you're interested in in-depth help in your licensing career, which is a pretty sweet deal!
