Licensing Theme Challenge
Week 4: In the Kitchen
Welcome back to our fourth week in the Licensing Theme Challenge!
No, we're not filming a cooking show this week!
Instead, we're using a personal space - in this case the kitchen - to help you start to re-envision the world you occupy regularly.
It can become so easy to take the sights we see everyday for granted.
So instead of looking past all of the things around you, this week I want you to focus on the things you see every day in your kitchen.
Are there objects that you can use to help tell a story?
Think about the kinds of images you could create using food, dishes, knickknacks, etc.
And as before, think about things that could potentially have a universal appeal!
If you would like to follow along in the challenge, I have a video to kick off Week 4:
I would love to see what you create, so feel free to share your portfolio with me by joining us in my artists' group on Facebook Beneath the Surface.

PS: If you want to get a jump start on portfolio building, I have put together an ebook called Licensed to Thrill of my 30 favorite book cover themes to help inspire your future photoshoots to build a portfolio that sells!
Licensed to Thrill is also now also a bonus for all students who enroll in Uncovered: Selling Your Art for Book Covers if you're interested in in-depth help in your licensing career, which is a pretty sweet deal!
