Licensing Theme Challenge
Week 3: Mementos
Welcome back to our third week in the Licensing Theme Challenge!
This week we are taking a personal turn and photographing mementos.
When I say mementos, I want you to think about the kinds of things that you save because they have personal significance and relate to your personal history.
These can be things like old letters, knickknacks, old photographs, you name it.
Just remember to try not to go for anything too esoteric.
We are, after all, trying to help an author tell their story with our images.
So thing about things that could potentially have a universal appeal!
If you would like to follow along in the challenge, I have a video to kick off Week 3:
I would love to see what you create, so feel free to share your portfolio with me by joining us in my artists' group on Facebook Beneath the Surface.

PS: If you want to get a jump start on portfolio building, I have put together an ebook called Licensed to Thrill of my 30 favorite book cover themes to help inspire your future photoshoots to build a portfolio that sells!
Licensed to Thrill is also now also a bonus for all students who enroll in Uncovered: Selling Your Art for Book Covers if you're interested in in-depth help in your licensing career, which is a pretty sweet deal!
